London five-piece ExLovers release their new double a-side single ‘Photobooth’ / ‘Weightless’ on 30th March, 2009 on Young & Lost Club records. ‘Photobooth' demonstrates exlovers ability to interweave gentle boy-girl harmonies, jangly guitars and wistful lyrics, which all combine to create a dreamlike soundscape. ‘Weightless’ demonstrates a darker, edgier side to the band. Its sweetly sombre lyrical musings are met with lo-fi guitars, ever-developing vocal harmonies and subtle instrumental discord, reminiscent of a bittersweet Pavement.
