THE DAILY MAIL - FRIDAY 8TH DECEMBER

'VINYL'S GROOVY AGAIN!' by Adrian Thrills

....The current boom goes hand in hand with the emergence of a new wave of independent record labels, imprints such as Transgressive and Young & Lost Club, who are unearthing new acts long before major labels.....

The boom is not purely a male thing, either.... while one of the country's best new labels, Young and Lost Club is run by Sara Jade 21 and Nadia Pyrrha, 22, who met at boarding school in Ascot. Operating out of a flat in London's Baker Street, they have already issued debut singles by Good Shoes and Larrikin Love.

'Some of the kids buying vinyl don't even have turntables,' says Sara. 'But it is the whole package that's improtant. A seven - inch is a piece of music, but its also a memento. It fits in well with this years best new bands, like Klaxons and The Horrors, who are very good visually.'
